Lufthansa has daily morning flights from Frankfurt, using B747-400.

British Airways in old colors, B747-400, G-BNLI, City of Sheffield, was

also has flights to Manila. This photo was taken in late-July 1997.

from London Heathrow Terminal 4. It also has services to Manila and Taipei.

British Airways now have more and more hybrid-colored aircraft
in order to prepare for its coming new color scheme. This
aircraft, G-BNLT, was arriving from Heathrow on March 29, 1997.

Three of them use B747-300s, but with a stop at Mumbai;
while the other two flights use MD11s. The aircraft
shown here, HB-IWM, is in old-color scheme.
It was going to land on HKG using IGS approach.
The photo was taken on March 6, 1997 at about 1545.

It arrived HKG on October 6, 1996 at 1212. It was having its
final approach in HKG and was arriving from Beijing. The aircraft
used was F-BTSD and with arrival flight no. as AF4816.
This flight departed HKG for Delhi on October 9, 1996 at 0920.

when it was landing using RWY13.


It arrives HKG from Rome on Saturday evening.
This B747-243F SCD, registered as I-DEMR, is named as "Titano".
It arrived HKG on October 16, 1996 at 1726. It was having its
round-the-world trip and just arrived from Beijing. The aircraft used
was G-BOAD and with arrival flight no. as BA9097C.
This picture was taken on October 19, 1996 in Kowloon Bay
where it was parked. It left on the same day.

Now British Asia Airways has 3 aircrafts, which are
all B747-400s. This photo was taken in July 1996 in
Taipei Chiang Kai Shek International Airport.
The registration of this B747-400 is G-CIVE and
it is named as the "City of Sunderland".

This Cargolion DC8-62CF, registered as LX-TLA,
visited HKG on August 25, 1995 in the early morning.

between HKG and Luxembourg twice weekly. It is the first airline
which recieved the first B747-400 frieghter. This B747-400F,
registered as LX-HCV, had its approach to HKG.

This one, registered as LX-ACV, is one of its B747-271C model.

KLM Asia is designed exclusively for the Taipei route. This KLM Asia B747-406 SCD, registered as PH-BFC, is called "City of Calgary".

to serve the HKG-Frankfurt route. This is one of the Lufthansa B747-400.
It is registered as D-ABVN. Lufthansa also has cargo flights to HKG,
using B747 freighters. The B747-400 shown was departing HKG
using the Runway 31, which does not use very often, except when
there is a change in wind direction or visibility. The white building
behind is the Hongkong Air Cargo Terminal (HACTL).
